Me and Enrichment

Welcome to my blog. I am so excited to be here in a place to engage with so many wonderful people who are as passionate as I am about learning, healing, and growing our whole lives. Everything we do is an opportunity to explore ourselves, maybe share some of ourselves, and be open and accepting of others as they do the same.

I have spent over 20 years utilizing recreational, and other enrichment activities, to empower foster youth with complex trauma to begin healing. These activities lead to positive relationships, increased coping behaviors, and acquisition of necessary independent living skills.

Some of the happiest people I know make their living doing something they first discovered as recreation or as a hobby.

We play to learn. We play to heal. We play to discover. We play to contribute to the greater community.
